The Holy Baptism Hymn by CYC Choir: The Seven Secrets Album

In the Jordan River, long ago

Jesus stepped in the water and lo

The heavens opened, and a dove appeared

The Father proclaimed His Son revered

His Holy Baptism had taken place

Ushering the salvation of the human race

Chorus:

One, two, three

Jesus Christ has set me free

In the Baptismal font, I go

Out I come white as snow

The original sin is gone, forgiven

A new life I have been given

My parents hold me in their arms

Renouncing Satan, protecting me from harm

By prayers, the water is sanctified

After three immersions I am justified

36 crosses of Myron seal me from head to toe

The Holy Spirit will dwell in me forevermore

Chorus:

One, two, three

Jesus Christ has set me free

In the Baptismal font, I go

Out I come white as snow

The original sin is gone, forgiven

A new life I have been given

Of communion, I can now partake

I am Christian; my debt is paid

I am a child of the king most high

I am reborn; I am alive.

Chorus:

One, two, three

Jesus Christ has set me free

In the Baptismal font, I go

Out I come white as snow

The original sin is gone, forgiven

A new life I have been freely given
