Hamburger, please?

Give us this day our daily burger!


My son made this request after partaking in Holy Communion:

“Mommy, can I have a hamburger after Church? Please?”


During Sunday School class, where he volunteered to pray, his gratitude felt misdirected:

“Thank you, God, for the fruits and vegetables.”




I guess I will have the hamburger then!
