SuperHolies’ Summer Camp Fun

The SuperHolies went to Summer Camp! The weather is getting colder and the days are getting grayer; nothing like pictures of sweet angels enjoying the SuperHolies at summer camp to add some warmth and light to my Monday! This summer, Saint Paul's Coptic Orthodox Mission Church of Chicago, leveraged the SuperHolies during their summer camp. I feel blessed and honoured that the SuperHolies were deemed useful to teach children about the love of Christ. My dear friend Sandra sent me these beautiful pictures and the ingenious way that the SuperHolies were incorporated into the material: ''The kids all had a...

When passion is louder than doubts- Vincent Van Gogh

Van Gogh's knew a thing or two about doubting one's talent Good day, dear readers, What are you passionate about? When you were younger, what did you dream of becoming? If you could quit your day job, how would you spend your days? Would you be exploring the wilderness, capturing nature in breathtaking photographs, sculpting, writing? What is holding you back? What is holding us back from indulging in our passions? Fear of failure? That fear kept me captive for years and still ambushes me every week, like clockwork. I leave you with this eloquent quote from a brilliant artist...

Despite my best efforts, Bible stories could not compete, night after night, with the allure of Spider-Man or Captain America. We would read Moses one night and he would ask for Lightning Mcqueen the following...

Another 5 stars review on Amazon.com for Philo and the Patience SuperHoly

We would love to get your feedback on Amazon- every review helps spread the word about Philo and the SuperHolies! 5.0 out of 5 stars wonderfully written By Cynthia Maher on January 20, 2017 Format: Kindle Edition Such a wonderful story about Patience ( my favorite of the gifts of the Holy Spirit). The book is well written at a level that a child can easily understand. It's a unique teaching tool I recommend to church school teachers serving today's young Bible students.
